The Cold One

Under the age of 18 years, I can say that I've seen and experienced more of the world than most individuals my age have and I don't plan on slowing down any time soon. Trying to describe the moments and memories gained from my trip will never amount up to what it felt to live them.
This is Part One of a Two Part series as there was so much content (even though I didn't film the first quarter of the trip). I'm heartbroken to see this trip end, but I'll leave you all at where it all began, Enjoy x

#EspañaJournals: Grand Granada

After spending 2 hours in the backseat of our rental, I believed I'd seen all there is to see of Spain. it was hard to imagine Spain astonishing me more than it already had. But, I was not prepared for the beauty that is Granada.
Granada is known as one of the 'Pearls' of Spain, and well and truly lives up to this title. Commonly referred to as "The Morrish Jewel" it lies in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Andalucía.

While I was there I got to see tons of stunning architecture and witness one of the most intense, passionate dances (twice in one day!) that originates from Granada, the "Flamenco".
Granada is thriving with culture and rich with history. Home to the castle of Alhambra, I took a stroll (which felt like a hike by the end of it) around the area in which the Alhambra lies. You're actually able to go inside and view the castle but unfortunately the tickets sold out before we could get the chance :( Nevertheless, the scenery was gorgeous, filled with breathtaking views of the Alhambra. We even found a cute little ice-cream store to stop at and take in the sights. We made our way through the gypsy markets on our way back to the hotel and I got some henna done. This was a bitter sweet experience as the henna was terrible and a complete rip off, It's the last time I ever get henna anywhere but 'Little India'. I ate my first paella while shopping in the city, They say the paella in Valencia is the best but my standards are quite high after this one! My time in Granada was incredible, it was an honest blast!

#EspañaJournals : Roadtrip to Córdoba

Woke up too early to drive too far to a place too beautiful to even describe! Córdoba is the first stop of many as we make our way south of Spain, The weather was chilly but you could hardly tell as the sun light kept us warm. Here are a few pics of Córdoba; I swear it was like walking around in Italy if you didn't know any better!
Cute open aired cafès at every corner, and the most amazing apartments hidden in every street. Còrdoba was a blast the atmosphere was so laid back and boho, the small town centre was so peaceful, we got to watch the sunset before heading off to our next destination; Seville here we come!
That's all for now, updates soon :)

#EspañaJournals

So long humid rainy days & hello spring! I'm delighted to say I'll be spending my April break in Spain :) My family & I are heading over to celebrate my big sister's wedding, so I took the opportunity to write about my travels xx

I've just survived a 19 hour flight wearing my B&W sweats w/ matching crop from Cotton On, I tried to add style to comfort by keeping to a color scheme, I matched it with Skin tight sneakers by Nike, Not only did it match my getup, they saved me from struggling to run from our 1st flight to the next. honestly couldn't have gotten through the flight without my cotton on favs! (And the 9 cups of tomato juice I consumed) x

We arrived in Madrid @ about 2pm. I was eagerly excited to go and explore the near by stalls & stores but our body clocks weren't in agreement so we've ended up chilling in our hotel ready for the journey waiting for us tomorrow...
Updates will be posted ASAP, stay tuned for more #EspañaJournals
