SUGAR, SPICE & ALL THINGS NICE.

S C H O O L ' S  O U T ! ! !
& winter break is here.
I'm genuinely so excited for these holidays as I've got plans to go to Singapore for a week & I recently bought the complete first season of 'Arrow' so i'm stoked to watch that.
'swell as all my plans, the holidays are a great time for me to start cooking again, I never usually get time during the semester to try new recipes & cook to my liking so I'm taking full advantage of my break to use my kitchen! starting with these "Peanut Butter Banana Brownies"
These bad boys, were based on a recipe I discovered on BussFeed:Food
I honestly get most of ideas from them as they make super delicious foods, so simply!
This is based off of their '3-step Brownie' recipe. Although their's was based on Nutella brownies, I decided to experiment with the homemade peanut butter i had left over to make a healthier alternative. Here's what I did.
~
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups of Organic Peanut Butter (bought or homemade)
2 eggs
1/2 cup of flour
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
2 bananas (peeled and sliced)

Method:
1) combine ingredients together (except for bananas) thoroughly.
2) line baking tray with cooking oil spray (or if not, line with baking paper)
3) pour mixture into tray & place banana's onto of mixture.
 4) bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
5) remove from oven and allow to cool, best served with vanilla ice-cream c:

This is a super simple recipe that you can use when you need a quick pick me up! It's light, fluffy & a better alternative to Nutella brownies. As you can see in the pictures, I added a couple of sprinkles as iI prefer having some sort of crunch in my brownies, I also recommend you use oats in this, as that gives it some texture but doesn't effect the taste x Hope this helped.
Now if you excuse me, I have to go binge watch 'Arrow' for the next 3 days
only joking, till next time :)

Later Babes xx
